The Long Drive

So I have been driving from Madison to Amarillo, Texas. Drove through the night and watched the sun rise on the beautiful Ozarks of Missouri. As the fog burned off and the rolling hills leveled into the plains of Oklahoma, I was stuck by how quickly the landscape changes and how the sun rising changes your perspective.

Around 9am, I passed Joplin, and was completely stunned by the devastation.

A long drive, but a great opportunity for perspective.
